FIA Sports Management is pleased to announce the signing of Spanish striker Aridane Santana to Bangkok Glass.
Aridane makes the move from Spanish second tier club Tenerife where he made 130 appearances and scored 44 goals from 2012 to 2015.
Aridane arrived in Bangkok on Saturday where he underwent and passed his medical examinations and made his first training session with the second placed team in the Thai Premier League.
The 191cm centre forward joins the club under the command of fellow-Spaniard Ricardo Rodriguez, who masterminded the team’s 1-0 win over Saraburi yesterday to remain 2 points adrift off the summit of the TPL.
Aridane expressed his delight about joining the Rabbits on Saturday, “I’m very glad to be here, the treatment I have recieved from everyone has been very good. I will try to help the team to continue on the same track in the league as they have been doing very well.”
Head Coach Ricardo Rodriguez added, “He is the kind of player that we need… a player with his capacity for heading and presence in the box will be interesting. He is a player I’ve knows from Spain, he has a good capacity for scoring goals, technically he is very interesting because he can also play as a playmaker and has shown in his experience in Span’s second division his technical capacity. He will provide us a different kind of weapon.”
Aridane Santana becomes the third signing for FIA Sports Management with Bangkok Glass this season, joining Ricardo Rodriguez and Australian Matt Smith.
