High flying Ariel Rodriguez’s goal scoring form in Thailand has convinced Costa Rican National Team manager Oscar Ramirez to select the forward for next month’s Copa America Centenario.
The Explosive Costa Rican will be hoping to make an impact for Los Ticos at the tournament which kicks runs from 3 to 26 June in the USA.
Rodriguez has scored 11 goals and 5 assists in 12 games for new club Bangkok Glass following his January move from Deportivo Saprissa.
“First of all thankful to God, I feel happy, proud, excited, motivated are many things I have to say, be summoned once again motivates me to keep doing things in the best way” Rodriguez posted on his official Facebook page.
“We will give the maximum for the Copa America Centenario 2016.”
Los Ticos wil play a friendly match at home to Venezuela on May 27 at an expected full house before their opening match against Paraguay on June 4 in Orlando.
