Matt Smith scores first goal for Bangkok Glass FC

FIA Sports Management’s Matt Smith has scored his first goal for Bangkok Glass FC.

The headed strike from the former Socceroo was the winning goal in a tight contest away from home against Navy FC in the Thai Premier League at Sattahip Navy Stadium on 7 March 2015.

The Rabbits’ next game is against local rivals Bangkok United.


Pablo Sanchez contract extension with Adelaide United must be a sure thing

Adelaide United surely cannot deny Pablo Sanchez a contract extension if he continues to score breathtaking goals.

The classy Spaniard bagged an absolute stunner in Adelaide’s 1-1 draw with Perth Glory at Coopers Stadium on Sunday.It all started from Tarek Elrich’s throw in before Sanchez returned the ball to the left back’s feet.

Sanchez then made an elusive forward run before Elrich slotted the ball between the Glory lines.With a swivel of the hips the Spaniard wrong footed a defender before chipping the ball over the advancing keeper Danny Vukovic.


Osmar Barba Ibáñez appointed FC Seoul vice-captain

FIA Sports Management is pleased to announce that Osmar Barba Ibáñez has been appointed the vice-captain of Korean giants FC Seoul.

The appointment comes off the back of a very good first season with the club, where he was nominated for the K-League Player of the Season Award.


Isaías Sanchez extends Adelaide United contract

FIA Sports Management is pleased to announce that Isaías Sanchez has agreed to extend his contract with Adelaide United by a further two seasons.

With his contract set to expire at the end of the current playing season, the Spaniard has chosen to remain with the Reds until the end of the Hyundai A-League 2016/17 season.

Isaías has made a total of 49 appearances for the Reds since first signing for the club in 2013 and currently leads the Hyundai A-League for the most completed passes. He was also part of the Adelaide United squad that won the inaugural Westfield FFA Cup in December 2014 and last season was crowned the 2013/14 Aurelio Vidmar Club Champion.


Javier Patino signs for Henan Jianye in the Chinese Super League

FIA Sports Management is pleased to announce the signing of Javier Patino to Chinese Super League club Henan Jianye.

Patino joins the CSL club from Thai Premier League Champions Buriram United for a record-fee following a highly successful two-year stint with the club.

After playing for Alcobendas, SS Reyes, Cordoba and Xerez, the Spanish-born striker left his homeland in 2013 when he signed for Buriram and was an instant hit in Thailand, netting 16 goals in all competition as his side went on to claim the domestic treble of the Premier League, FA Cup and League Cup.
