FIA Sports Management is pleased to announce that Isaías Sanchez has agreed to extend his contract with Adelaide United by a further two seasons.
With his contract set to expire at the end of the current playing season, the Spaniard has chosen to remain with the Reds until the end of the Hyundai A-League 2016/17 season.
Isaías has made a total of 49 appearances for the Reds since first signing for the club in 2013 and currently leads the Hyundai A-League for the most completed passes. He was also part of the Adelaide United squad that won the inaugural Westfield FFA Cup in December 2014 and last season was crowned the 2013/14 Aurelio Vidmar Club Champion.
FIA Sports Management is pleased to announce the signing of Javier Patino to Chinese Super League club Henan Jianye.
Patino joins the CSL club from Thai Premier League Champions Buriram United for a record-fee following a highly successful two-year stint with the club.
After playing for Alcobendas, SS Reyes, Cordoba and Xerez, the Spanish-born striker left his homeland in 2013 when he signed for Buriram and was an instant hit in Thailand, netting 16 goals in all competition as his side went on to claim the domestic treble of the Premier League, FA Cup and League Cup.
FIA Sports Management is pleased to announce that forward Sergio Cirio has signed a contract extension for a further two-seasons with Adelaide United FC.
Cirio’s contract was set to end at the end of this season, but he confirmed this week that Adelaide United is the club he wants to continue his career with.
Joining the club at the start of the 2013/14 Season he has since made 42 appearances and scored 18 goals. He also won the inaugural Westfield FFA Cup and was awarded the Mark Viduka Medal for being the most outstanding player in that final.
FIA Sports Management is pleased to announce the signing of Spanish forward Miguel Palanca to Adelaide United for the remainder of the season.
Palanca becomes the fourth Spanish player to join the club since Head Coach Josep Gombau’s appointment.
Palanca began his football career with his local club, Espanyol, where he developed through their youth academy before making his professional debut for the club during the 2006/07 La Liga season.
