Osmar Barba Ibáñez has been handed the captain’s armband for FC Seoul for the first time in their AFC Champions League tie against China’s Guangzhou Evergrande.
Osmar, who at the beginning of the season was appointed club vice-captain was thrilled with the honour bestowed upon him in only his second season in Korea.

Osmar enjoyed a very good first season with the club, where he was nominated for the K-League Player of the Season Award.
Osmar was an integral part of the FC Seoul team made it to the Semi Finals of the AFC Champions League where they were knocked out by eventual Champions Western Sydney Wanderers.
FC Seoul currently sit second in their AFC Champions League group and face rivals Kashiwa Antlers on May 5th to secure progression to the knock-out faze.
