FIA Sports Management is pleased to announce that Ricardo Rodriguez has been appointed head coach of Toyota Thai League club Suphanburi FC.
The 41-year old Spaniard takes over the reigns having left his post with Bangkok Glass in December 2015.
Rodriguez is expected to create a new style of play for the club who have failed to live up to expectations that past past 14 months.
Ricardo began his Thai journey with Ratchaburi FC – leading the team to a fourth place finish in 2014 before being taking over the reigns at Bangkok Glass last season.
“My goal is to develop a new style of play for the team,” said Ricardo following the Suphanburi announcement.
“I am committed to building a team and focuse on the development of tactics. While there are already some great players at Suphanburi, I’m here to develop the potential of all the players. This team has the potential to move forward.”
“The main thing we need to do is create an identity in the course of our players to get to work and play well.”
Rodriguez will begin immediately and has already taken over training sessions.
